Founded in 1984 by Nitin Sodha with a government grant and a vision for better access to medicines, our group of pharmacies all share the same vision – to provide an exceptional service for you and your family. Our highly trained and dedicated pharmacy teams are there to help in every aspect of your well being and to give sound professional advice when you need it.

Knight Pharmacy History

Established in 1984, Knights Pharmacy has focused on growth, not in numbers, but stature and quality.

The estate comprises of 45 pharmacies across the West Midlands and South Wales.

Our presence in the West Midlands will continue to grow through a strategic and careful acquisition plan. Selection is based on a specific criteria, we aim to operate in communities where we can add value in the form of NHS and private services, along with accessible pharmacy teams.

In 2015 Knights acquired Norchem Healthcare and have built on the successes of the business by investing in automation to create efficiency and increasing the local pharmacy footprint.

Knights added to the family in North Wales and the Wirral with the acquisition of Vittoria Healthcare in 2017. Knights acquired Pearns Pharmacies Limited, 20 pharmacies in South Wales in 2021 followed by 5 further branches in South Wales in 2022.

In 2023, Knights sold 48 pharmacies in the North East and North West of England, retaining 45 sites in the West Midlands and South Wales, so we can focus on providing the best possible service in these regions.
